This official African version of Burning man is conveniently located in South Africa.
It's the utmost display of white privilege I've so far seen in my life. It was a stark contrast to the real-life of South Africa, with its sometimes openly promoted, sometimes warned against and sometimes evident-by-its-absence aspects of life.
For 6 days we lived in "radical self-reliance". From substance, to dancing, to celebrations of whiteness. This very friendly, but also very privileged festival was a little glimpse into the white lives of South Africa.
